Safe Glow 2 Receiver Monitor

The Safe Glow 2 Receiver Monitor by Safety 1st is an essential part of any young parents’ household. For those who purchase this baby monitor system, it promises to relieve amount of stress when it comes looking over the young ones.

The superb reception featured by the Safe Glow 2 Receiver Monitor makes it especially useful in large houses. With two portable receivers that can be placed anywhere throughout the home, it provides long lasting reliability for parents seeking to maintain a constant watch over the safety of their newborn babies and toddlers.

One of the most impressive features of this baby monitoring system is the red light that displays the baby’s sound level. This makes it possible for parents to down the volume while still being able to keep an eye on the noise events in the baby’s room.

The red light may seem like an insignificant feature, but it’s turned out to be invaluable for me. As a young mother with a robust social life, this feature allows me to turn the monitor down to its lowest setting while I talk on the phone, have friends over, listen to music or just watch TV. By placing the baby monitor in an easy-to-glance-at location, I’m able to keep an eye on the safety of my baby, without being interrupted by the sound of static all the time.

Another worthwhile feature of the Safe Glow 2 Receiver Monitor is the auto-off soft glow light. It saves the unit’s battery life by shutting itself off after 15 minutes if there is no change in the sound level. After that, if the baby starts crying, it will reactivate the monitor. In the meantime, however, the device is not wasting energy, thus allowing the 9 volt batteries to last quite a long time.

When I first decided to try out this system, I was faced with one pressing question: where do I put the monitors? I found that this wasn’t as easy to answer as I first had thought. That’s because there’s a low static hum that the monitors emit when turned on to full volume. After trying out a few spots, however, I was able to comfortably place them in the kitchen and the master bedroom. While I wasn’t able to completely tune out the static sound, it was very subtle. And with perfect reception, it’s well worth a little background noise. When the volume is turned up all the way, I can hear my daughter breathing in her crib from anywhere in the house!

Overall, I would recommend the Safe Glow 2 Receiver Monitor. It has given me peace of mind and is easy to use.
